Theory and modelling

DescriptionThe effect of biomolecule adsorption on nanostructures is of very high complexity, one reason being the comparable size of biomolecules to nanostructure dimensions. Happily, such complexity opens unexplored possibilities for novel sensing schemes. The basic understanding of the nanomechanical response of nanodevices and nanostructures is key for further advancement of nanomechanical sensing.
